I’m so happy to be a part of i Love To Create’s Galaxy Shirt Challenge. This is a really fun project, it gives you the chance to splatter some paint and get creative! I actually got a little too creative and had to repaint the wall in my kitchen after this project, but at least I had fun right?
I love how many ways there are to alter a basic t-shirt. You can completely change the color, add designs, cut it up and turn it into something totally unique and fun!
The alterations I made to this shirt after painting it are really intended to be worn over a bathing suit or something like that. The arm holes are really big but I kept the front simple and more covered up. It’s business in the front, party in the back LOL. Not quite the mullet of shirts but you get the picture.
There are so many ways to create your own galaxy, you can get really creative with your colors and add lots of stars! I was really happy with the Tulip fabric spray paint. I used the white which is called snow and it really pops on the shirt. It didn’t soak in or fade, it stayed really white. Which is what you want your stars to do.
