For today’s post I’ve partnered with Sprout by HP and I’m so excited to share the Sprout with you. I’ve created a video with my daughter using one of the apps for kids that comes with the Sprout. You’ll be amazed with how easy it is to use!
I have to admit that I’ve actually found myself waiting to use the Sprout until my daughter finished a drawing! This is a really great computer for kids.
The monitor is a touch screen, so kids are just naturally able to immediately interact with it. She figured out how to do things on right away, without me telling her (and figured out new things I had no idea it could do!). It’s no surprise with all the touch screens everywhere now on phones and tablets. Computer monitors are the obvious next step.
In this video my daughter is using the Crayola app. It gives kids lots of coloring pages to choose from or blank pages to create their own artwork. They also get choose music to listen to while coloring. I have no idea how many crayon colors there are, but there’s a lot! The kids can even save their artwork to view later.
Kids can even scan in objects to use as stickers on their colorings or use the Crayola stickers. When they scan them in they save right to the sticker album on the Crayola app, it’s that fast!
There are lots more apps, a puzzle maker, one to learn or practice piano. It’s really amazing!
Tomorrow I will be showing how I use the Sprout for inspiration and sketching out ideas for the blog. Be sure to check back!
