Sometimes all you need is a quick upgrade, these DIY Striped Sandals are just that. I started with a basic sandal that I had and some leftover ribbon and voilá! New sandals! They’re easy to make, inexpensive, and perfect for summer, what could be better!
SUPPLIES YOU’LL NEED:
- Sandals
- Ribbon
- Fabric glue
- Scissors

Measure and cut your ribbon.
Before gluing fold your ribbon ends over.

Glue your ribbon on to your sandals.
Let dry.
Fabric glue is a really handy tool to keep in your bag of tricks. This one by Aleene’s is thicker than some, so you don’t have to worry about it bleeding through as much and it holds really well.
I’m a sucker for grosgrain and this fresh navy and white stripe looks clean and cool, and will go with most any summer outfit, especially this DIY Off the Shoulder Dress from yesterday’s post. This may just be my go to outfit for the rest of the summer!
