Did I mention this skirt has pockets too?
For this project Im trying a new dye, Tulips Liquid Dye. Honestly this stuff is great! It was easy to mix, it dyed the fabric quickly (in about 30 minutes) and there was next to no dye to rinse out! That makes it darn near perfect in my book!
I bought this fabric at Ikea, and while its actually a home furnishings fabric, I thought that the design was so cute I just had to wear it! (I love the little birds!) Its also a lightweight cotton, which is perfect for a skirt.
