It’s time to start thinking about your back to school wardrobe! Why not add some subtle shimmer and texture to your jeans with this Painted Jeans DIY using ColorShot the new fabric spray paint from i Love To Create.
TOOLS & MATERIALS:
- Tulip ColorShot Fabric Spray Paint
- Jeans
- Stencils (I used a placemat)
- Aleene’s Stencil Adhesive (optional)
It is recommended that you use ColorShot outdoors with good ventilation.
step 1
Spray your stencil adhesive over the back of your stencil if necessary. I used placemats that I cut up for my stencil and I didn’t need the adhesive.
step 2
Position your stencil onto your jeans, smooth out your stencil and press firmly to make sure there are no bubbles or gaps.
step 3
Mask off any areas where you don’t want your color or let the extra spray become part of your design.
step 4
Using your colorshot, spray one light even layer over your design.
Let dry.
step 5
Spray a second coat.
Let dry.
Repeat until you have your desired color.
step 6
Carefully peel off your stencil.
